Reading the card

Read the category, entire row and its parentheses. Check numbers, suit relationships, flowers and dragons. Printed colors distinguish suits; they are not literal tile-ink colors.

X permits exposures and C denotes a concealed hand. White dragon may represent zero in a year. NEWS consists of four different singles, not a kong. A generic four-sets-and-pair shape is not enough.
