Errors and adapting

Wrong counts, incompatible exposures or exposing a C line can make a hand dead. Preserve the evidence and consult the current rule or adjudicator. Do not conceal an incorrect exposure or import rules from another variant.

For practice, list each candidate line's missing tiles and count visible copies. If a required pair becomes unavailable, consider a second line sharing your tiles. Check that an exposure does not eliminate every legal route.
